Every day far out at sea half the fish caught in the North Sea are being
thrown back dead. That's almost a million tonnes of edible fish every
year - wasted. Fishermen hate doing it, but EU law says they have to.

environmental crime? A senseless waste? We want to stop it. Now on channel 4 -- in his new campaigning series Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall investigates the plight of the world's diminishing fish stocks. Please join the discard protest at www.fishfight.net
